The truth about celebrating with Bel Altar.
I believe honesty builds lasting relationships, just like it has for many couples I've married. Here are honest answers to help you decide what's best for you.
-
Most couples book 9 to 14 months in advance, especially for high-season dates in Cartagena.
Although the creative process begins 90 days before your wedding, reserving early ensures your date is secured — I work with a very limited number of couples per year, and once a date is taken, it cannot be released. -
Bel Altar investment details are shared in the Ceremony Details section and as part of the consultation process. This ensures alignment and allows us to answer your questions with clarity and care.
-
Yes. Every ceremony is written and delivered bilingually, crafted to flow naturally for guests from both cultures without repetition or awkward switching. It feels seamless, intimate, and beautifully shared.
-
No. The ceremony script is a proprietary, author-crafted format that only I can interpret and deliver. This structure allows the ceremony to remain intentional, emotional, and cohesive.
You will, however, review your own vows and, if extremely necessary, your participants’ texts — and I ensure everything flows together beautifully. -
Yes.
If you want support with the language, tone, or emotional clarity of your vows, I offer premium bilingual vow refinement as an add-on service. -
Your service includes:
— A fully personalized bilingual ceremony
— Individual interviews with bride, groom, and participants
— Review and refinement of vows and participant readings
— A ceremony timeline for you and your planner
— The Bel Altar “Love Realities” cards.
— A keepsake digital file with your readings, vows, and ceremony materials
— Ceremony delivery on your wedding dayThe ceremony script itself is not shared or edited, as it is part of my proprietary creative process.

If you need to postpone, I will accommodate the new date only if I am available.
Because I take a very limited number of weddings per year, I cannot guarantee availability for a new date — postponements are treated as new bookings.
If I am unavailable, I can offer general guidance, but I do not provide celebrant referrals. -
Yes. Upon request. Travel fees apply.
-
Your ceremony is crafted to match your worldview—humanist, symbolic, poetic, spiritual-but-not-religious, or secular.
Bel Altar specializes in modern, emotionally intelligent, multicultural ceremonies. -
Absolutely. I integrate rituals, symbolism, and cultural elements in a way that feels authentic and harmonious for both families.
-
Yes. After we have started the process, I coordinate directly with your planner to ensure the ceremony is aligned with the larger flow of the day.
